Are you interested in learning how goat cheese, goat milk, or lotions are made? How about visiting first hand the females that produce the milk? Join us on a tour of Ithika Acres Creamery in Hoke County where attendees will have the opportunity to sample different cheeses, learn about the cheeses, and the lotion and soap making process. Attendees can even try milking a goat! Participants will receive a lotion and have the opportunity to visit the farm store. Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes that are "farm friendly."
Join the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center staff as we travel to Hoke County to visit a local goat farm. The tour will be held on November 20 from 9am-1pm.
Transportation from the Extension office will be provided. Arrive by 8:45am for a 9am departure.

Registration and registration fee of $25 are due by November 8. Spots for the tour are limited so register early!
