2016 Hall of Fame
Nominations Sought

Nominations are now being accepted for candidates for induction into the Cumberland County Agricultural Hall of Fame for 2016. The Cumberland County Agricultural Hall of Fame honors county residents who have made significant contributions to agriculture, home economics, youth development or rural communities. Membership in the Hall of Fame has been awarded to individuals annually since 1989. The Agricultural Hall of Fame is located in the auditorium of the Cumberland County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension, located in the Charlie Rose Agri-Expo Center, 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC. UMO AgPrime Grant
Opportunity for Individual Farm Operations

University of Mount Olive AgPrime provides grants to North Carolina farmers for new and innovative agricultural project ideas that will increase farm profits. This grant program, which is supported by the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission, was designed to strengthen farms and communities that were negatively impacted by the downturn of the tobacco economy. UMO AgPrime Grants are available in the following counties: Cumberland, Lee, Moore, Richmond and Robeson.
