Home lawns can be a great source of joy and pride for many homeowners. It can also be a lot of work. Join Cumberland County Consumer Horticulture Extension Agent, Allen West and NC State University Turfgrass Specialist, Daniel Freund, to learn how to manage soils, irrigation, weeds, insects, diseases and more, to get the lawn you desire. Attendees will receive information and maintenance calendars for Centipede, Bermuda, Zoysia and St. Augustine grasses. Attendees will leave with lots of information and a plan to get their lawns going in the right direction.

The seminar will be held in the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. The N.C. Cooperative Extension Center is located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC. Cost for the seminar is $10.00. Light refreshments will be available.
