Extension's Better
Living Series

Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Service is excited to launch a brand new educational series entitled "Better Living Series". Come join Cooperative Extension agents for informational workshops on lawns, gardens, nutrition, canning, decorating and much more. Workshops will be held beginning February 17, 2015 in the Cooperative Extension Auditorium located at 301 East Mountain Drive. Please check the Better Living Series Brochure Pre-registration is requested for all workshops. Most workshops are provided at no cost; however, there are a select few which will require pre-registration and a minimal fee upon registration. Fees for Soil Samples
to Begin

Beginning on November 26, 2014 and continuing through March 31, 2015 a $4.00 peak season fee will be accessed to each soil sample submitted for testing to the Agronomic Division Lab. Soil samples must be received at the Agronomic Division Lab prior to 6:00 p.m. on November 25, 2014 to avoid the fee. Shipping or post-marked dates prior to November 26, 2014 will not deter the fee if not received at the lab by the deadline.
