Hands on Healthy Snacks

Join the Sandhills Heritage Association and the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Service for "Hands on Healthy Snacks" workshop, where kids ages 9 - 16 will learn how to create healthy snacks. The workshop will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the Sandhills Farmers Market located at 240 Chapel Hill Road in Spring Lake. Farmer's Market Now Available on Saturdays

Area residents now have two opportunites to visit the Fayetteville Farmers Market in downtown Fayetteville. Beginning Saturday, June 27, 2009 the Fayetteville Farmers' Market will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County parking lot near Gillespie Street, across from the Old Courthouse.
