Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will offer a "Spring Home Lawn Turfgrass" workshop on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10am-12noon.
Are you hoping to have a greener, thicker and more healthy home lawn this year? Whether you are native of the area looking to improve your work from years past or just moved here and wondering where to get started, this workshop will teach you how to have a healthy home lawn. Class attendees will learn about the best grass types for your location, soil management, weed control, proper irrigation and much more. Come and get the answers to all of your lawn questions and leave with lots of information and resources to begin your journey to having the home lawn you've always wanted.
