Safe Pressure Canning 101

Are you ready to starting canning those fresh vegetables and fruits?  Then join the Cooperative Extension staff for a hands-on "Safe Pressure Canning 101" workshop.

This class will cover the basics of pressure canning for not only beginners but those interested in becoming familiar with the most up-to-date recommendations. Enjoy this workshop while learning the steps to safely and confidently pressure can low acid foods in this hands on class.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 12, from 12:00noon - 2:00 pm at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center office, 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC.

Registration is limited for the class and is due by June 7. Registration fee is $12 and must be paid by the registration deadline of June 7. Checks, money orders, or correct cash accepted for registration payments. Checks should be made payable to Cumberland County.
