It’s that time of the year….Canning Season!

If you are planning to can some of your summer fruits and vegetables, it is time to test your dial gauge pressure canner. Dial gauge pressure canners should be tested annually.

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center is offering free pressure canner testing Monday, April 17 through Thursday, April 20.

Please call the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center at 910-321-6869 or 910-321-6405 to schedule your appointment. You will need to bring your dial gauge canner lid for testing. The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center is located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
