Cumberland County will host a free Post-Drought Winter Forage Management workshop on Thursday, November 12, 2026. The workshop will begin at 7:00pm in the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Auditorium, located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC.

Leading professionals will provided information on best options managing forage resources this winter season post-drought. Topics will include:

• alternative hay options
• emergency disaster financial assistance programs
• high nitrate management
