It’s that time of the year….Canning Season!

If you are planning to can some of your summer fruits and vegetables, it is time to test your dial gauge pressure canner. Dial gauge pressure canners should be tested annually.

Cumberland County Cooperative Extension is offering free pressure canner testing Monday, May 2, 2022, through Friday, May 6 at noon.

Please call the Cumberland County Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension at 910-321-6869 or 910-321-6405 to schedule your appointment. You will need to bring your dial gauge canner lid for testing. The Cumberland County Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension is located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
