Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will offer a “Spring Home Lawn Turfgrass” workshop on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10 a.m.-12noon.

Are you hoping to have a greener, thicker and more healthy home lawn this year? Whether you are native of the area looking to improve your work from years past or just moved here and wondering where to get started, this workshop will teach you how to have a healthy home lawn. Class attendees will learn about the best grass types for your location, soil management, weed control, proper irrigation and much more. Come and get the answers to all of your lawn questions and leave with lots of information and resources to begin your journey to having the home lawn you’ve always wanted.

Registration using Eventbrite is preferred. Registration and registration fee of $10 are due by February 18.

*Registration transfers are not allowed.
*Due to capacity, attend the workshop you registered for.
*Workshops are for registered adult participants only.
*No refunds unless the workshop is cancelled by Cooperative Extension Staff.

Just a reminder – We love your kids – but our Better Living Series workshops are for 18 years and up! Our 4-H Youth Development program has great workshops and programs for youth ages 5-18.
