N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center announces the Better Living Series workshop on hydroponic Gardening on September 11, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. The workshop will be held at the Cumberland County Center, located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
Have you ever wanted to grow lettuce or other crops without soil? Join the Cooperative Extension staff and the Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers to learn how to setup a hydroponic growing system. This class is designed for the beginning hobbyist. Participants will leave with a tray of microgreens to get started with this fun new adventure of growing plants in water.
Registration and registration fee of $10.00 are due by September 6. Class size is limited so register early. Refunds only if the class is canceled by Cooperative Extension staff.
