Peak season soil testing fees are set to take effect December 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022, pending final approval by the N.C. Board of Agriculture on November 19. Submitting soil samples before December 1, 2021 will mean growers and homeowners can avoid the  $4.00 fee per sample.

Soil samples delivered to the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension office by close of business on November 19, 2021 will be delivered to the NCDA Soil Lab before the November 30 deadline. The Cumberland County Center of Cooperative Extension is located at 301 East Mountain Drive, Fayetteville, NC. Soil kits are available in our office Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
