2021 Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Spring Symposium

The Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer Association of Cumberland County is pleased to announce the 2021 Spring Symposium will be held virtually on March 20, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. –12:30 p.m. Featured speakers will be Kirk Brown, nationally known horticulture presenter on such diverse topics as Bartram, Olmstead, design, and human resource management. He is the former National Outreach Coordinator of Magnolia Plantation Gardens in Charleston. Joining him will be Craig LeHoullier, the infamous “NC Tomatoman,” responsible for the naming of the Cherokee Purple heirloom tomato, co-led the Dwarf Tomato Breeding project, and is the author of “Epic Tomatoes and Growing Vegetables in Straw Bales.”
