On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 9 a.m., the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Center will be holding a Virtual Aquatic Weed Management seminar via Zoom. Dr. Rob Richardson, NC State University Aquatic Weed Management Specialist, will be the guest speaker. He will talk about and discuss the identification and management of problem weeds in ponds and lakes.

This training provides 1.5 hours of pesticide applicator CEU’s in categories A, D, N, and X. Participation in this program requires a computer with internet access and a webcam or a smartphone. You must also register prior to the training at the following link: https://go.ncsu.edu/cumberlandaquatic2020

After successfully registering, you should receive an email with instructions for joining and participating in the meeting. Please note that this class is completely virtual and will not be an in-person, face-to-face meeting. It is also necessary for us to be able to see each participant’s face in order to give credit for the CEU’s.
