Farmer's Market Now Available on Saturdays

Area residents now have two opportunites to visit the Fayetteville Farmers Market in downtown Fayetteville. Beginning Saturday, June 27, 2009 the Fayetteville Farmers' Market will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County parking lot near Gillespie Street, across from the Old Courthouse. Third graders at Pauline Jones Elementary took part in a NCSU nutrition program funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a part of their regular course study.
